Like CleanMyMac, this software is for Windows version. CleanMyPC runs regular maintenance mechanisms and performs routine checks, fixes and scans to make sure that your computer is being kept in shape, stays fit, clean and free from unneeded files. During a scan CleanMyPC analyzes your hard drive to find files which might be safely removed. These are System Junk, Caches, leftovers and other safe-to-be-removed files which occupy space on your hard drive - sometimes tens of Gigabytes!

Sometimes registry becomes cluttered or partially corrupted. This cannot be fixed manually (unless you have deep technical knowledge and experience) and we advise to let CleanMyPCʼs registry maintenance utility to take care of your registry. CleanMyPC knows what is safe to be cleaned, fixed and disabled to help you make your computer run faster than ever.

It is not a secret that a fresh Windows installation runs significantly faster, but as you install more applications and use your computer on a day to day basis the system slows down. When you simply remove files to and from Recycle Bin they can still be brought back by third party data recovery software. Files and folders removed with CleanMyPC's “Secure Erase” cannot be recovered.
